I use it and I hope it will get official support soon!
I do use it for every day’s work, and it’s already very useful as it is. So it will be really good if it gets official support.
Windows 10 was my reason to switch to Linux about 1 1/2 years ago and I’m only booting to Windows maybe twice a month.
I’m now doing all my development on Linux, daily.
Windows 10 was also my main reason for going to linux full time, rather get off the sinking ship sooner than later.
The pros greatly outweighs the cons for me.
The latest update for unity greatly improved the performance of the editor for me. ![]()
I also use it daily.
I only booted windows for unity but now that theres an editor for linux based distros I have not touched windows at all.
I also run almost the whole time Linux because of win 10. Sometimes I am still in need for some win only programs, but they become fewer., when I compare it to the tines back then.
the only thing that is a no go at the moment is the not working drag and drop from files to the editor.
In total it runs even smoother than on Windows and with visual studio code I also do not miss vs that much
