Hey,
We’re a start up team and frankly none of us have a salary but the money we’re making off freelance is some what fine with us atm.
just to give you guys some insight, we’re a team of 4, fresh out of uni, and im wondering how can i understand how much should i be paying a programmer on a part time job with us per objective? The game we’re working on is small, its simply a first person mystery game that’s most complex thing is probably the inventory system.
I know there are going to be comments saying that i should learn code, i do and i use playmaker. Although the problem with playmaker is that it’s a little conflicting when wanting to combine it with other plug ins such as Playmaker + NGUI.
I dont have the time to learn, i only have enough to make, apart from considering that i’ve just learnt how to code, web, market, manage, model, animate, and design hundreds of things. All im saying is that im ready to spend all my holiday money on one more person to make with me because doing 100% of everything is ridiculous. So please no comments about “just learn it” or “just go join a bigger game company” i need actual advice for small indie teams.
Sorry for the small rant,
Thanks in advance!
