How safe is it to remove unused modules in the manifest.json file?

For example, I don’t use physics, terrain, terrain physics, etc in my project. Can I just remove them from the manifest file and what exactly will that do? Just make my initial bootup faster, project size smaller, etc?

I would also like to hear it. Couse I deleted it from inside Unity
And no matter what, those dll’s still inside build (for desktop).
