How should I go around using Stockfish (chess engine) in my game?

I’m not asking how to use it (even though I still have to figure that out, that’s for another problem).
I would like to know how I should bundle it in my project because of it’s license (GPL); should I just throw the Stockfish executable + a text file with it’s license at the same directory the game files will be, or do I need something else?

Sorry if this question doesn’t really fit this forum, but honestly I have no idea where to post this.
