How should I respond to the BACK button on the GearVR?

I have noticed in the apps in the Oculus Home that when you hit the GearVR’s back button it gives a popup to confirm returning to the Oculus Home.

Now I have not figured out what corporate hoops to jump through to get my app to appear inside Oculus Home, but I would like for my app to respond to the back button in such a way that it behaves similarly if I ever do get it into the Oculus Home library.

What API calls are appropriate?

If (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.Escape)) {
    //Application.Quit();
    // do something smarter
}

This will move the app to the background like most apps behave.
