how smooth group in unity from blender?

It only works when exporting to .obj. Otherwise you need to use Mark Sharp and the edge split modifier.

I know what you mean, but that are not really smoothing groups for me.
When I think about smoothing groups, I think about the thing that 3ds Max has, where you can assign different smoothed parts to numbered groups.

Anyway, I would use ‘mark sharp’ and the edge split as suggested by Eric.

Why wouldn’t it work with fbx? Just curious.

I guess someone would have to program the fbx exporter to support that. (Which would be nice actually.)
