I’m trying to get a ‘Self-Illuminated Normal mapped Diffuse’ shader working. In’ order to achieve a glow on the numbers, what’s am I missing? The D8_glow is a black and white texture, the numbers being white. The light blue dice has the Self-Illuminated shader, and the darker one has just a diffused bump.
I did change the D8_glow texture to Generate Alpha from Gray Scale and that seemed to help with keeping the dice dark and only showing the numbers as a vivid white (not shown in the screenshot).
Bloom sort of works, and glow doesn’t seem to give me the effect I want, making everything glow. I’d like the white numbers to be a solid white with an even glow emanating from them.
Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated!
