How to achieve great lighting in a Horror game?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering how I can achieve a good lighting.

I don’t know much about the light in Unity and I tried a bit around but it always looks not real or not scary.

The entire game is indoor and want it to be very dark. For example if you know the video game Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 it should be similiar to this.

My question is if you guys have tips and tricks on how I can achieve greater lighting like the lighting in FNAF 1. (All the cameras and the security room lighting)

Here is an example video of what I mean:

I use the built in Renderer.

Thanks in advance,
Max

Ok, so you stated its an “indoor” environment, and you think/want things to be dark. Is it deved with BuiltIn, HDRP, or URP? We really cant help without screenshots or video, to know more about your situation, as lighting is a big subject…
