How to Achieve Some what Realistic Darkness?,

if you are confused by the question here is what I mean
in unity, I find it really hard to get gradual lighting/darkness (if that’s even a thing)

for example, I’m making an interior and it’s really hard to get the shadow to be not fully dark
especially on where walls meet if you know what I mean

I’m not totally clueless I know you can bake the lighting and use lights to amp up the brightness
I know there is the post-processing scripts and you can boost the indirect light in the lighting tab
I tried almost everything but I couldn’t achieve the result I’m looking for it’s either too dark or too bright
but is there an option or trick to achieve this across all the maps and that is making shadow not that dark
