How to add lights to building windows?

I have a series of city building models but my scene takes place in the evening so I need lights to be on in some of the windows, can anyone tell me the best way to achieve this?

i think emissive surfaces are the best way to go for stuff like this, you can create an emissive map for all the windows on the building model, and when you apply it all the windows would glow, but for that light to shine on the environment you’ll either need to use light probes or you can just fake it with point lights. if you don’t need that many windows and it’ll be at a distance you can even just create a bunch of planes with solid color emissive materials and it’ll look just fine.
