I’m new to Unity, and experimenting by making a room for a first person character to walk around in.
So I have my walls - with texture, floor, lighting, and first person view and controls set up, and now I’d like to add windows to one of the walls. How would this be done?
well i would recommend you not using unity as a modeling tool being the fact that its a game engine i would recommend you using blender, 3ds max ,maya , or any modeling program …then just export into unity as a “.fbx” file
I see. I’ll try both solutions and see how they look. I suspect I’ll end up using Maya.
I suppose I’ll end up using Maya or 3dsm then. I had been trying to avoid that, but thank you.
