How to animate a breath effect for the rifle using a scope?

I a beginner in unity , I need to know how to make a rifle and shooting using a scope , but when the player is scoping, the aim can not be static , it need to simulate the breathing.

How would you guys do/did it ?

If you know it in theory you can share here and It will be easier to make the code, since I am dont have experience I am lost about the process.

If you want to search for some tutorials this effect is usually called “head bobbing” so I’d start with this search clause.

But in general to create basic effect like this, just select a random point X units around the center of the screen and smoothly move your crosshair there. Do it every so often and you’ve got yourself a breath effect.
