How to Bake Lighting using LWRP?

How to Bake Lighting using LWRP? since point lights per object are strictly limited by only up to 4 ? !
We have a sci-fi scene with loads of led stripe and illumination devices, how can I baked the whole scene with only 4 point lights??

If we change the LWRP back to HD or built-in, all materials are gone pink, and we don’t want to shift the RP only for the sake of baking.

Any advice?

Hello? Any support ? please ~~

There is no limit on baked lights so there shouldn’t be any problem.

Yea, but on sceneview we can not preview the lighting effect when the number of light exceeds 4…Is there anyway to improve the baking procedure so far?

It will appear just fine once you bake. If you use the progressive lightmapper you should get near-instant feedback so it’s not much of a problem.

@Tartiflette
Thanks for your help though…

Anyway it’s still a painful way of setting up the bake for the whole scene since it’s not what you see is what you get…due to there are hundreds of lights in the scene, we can’t even get a proper conceptual layout preview at the early stage.

Hope unity dev can do more polish for the lighting bake system …

I realized the same thing. In the scene view, you only see the 4 brightest lights. Super annoying when creating a scene. And having auto-generating on is slowing down the workflow a lot because unity needs too many resources to recalculate.
