How to be 'New Noteworthy' worthy

I was reading the new book by Daniel Pink. And, I learned something. Apparently, Pink had been sneaking into my bedroom at night, watching me talk to myself. And, he didn’t like what he was hearing. Apparently, ‘You can do it Gigi!’ is a terrible way to motivate. He suggested I try asking myself a question, ‘How can you do it, Gigi?’ So, now that I’ve locked my windows to keep his prying eyes out of my bedroom, I’m asking exactly that!

“How can I build an app that is New and Noteworthy?” Assuming the 500 reviews indicates my content is pretty good, and is still improving, then what can I do to add polish? And, I’m not talking about my heritage here. I’m talking about JUICE!

How can I make my apps more juicy?

Gigi.

PS - Last night, I broke the 500 review milestone! Cake and Ice Cream for everyone!

Awesome - I like chocolate.

But, seriously, congratulations.

The cake is a lie!!!

Congratulations on breaking your limit!

Have you seen the game, ‘Little Inferno?’ That has juice. I think it was developed by the authors of that famous gamasutra article, “How To Prototype A Game In Under 7 Days”. They said: “A juicy game feels alive and responds to everything you do – tons of cascading action and response for minimal user input.”

Juice, Juice, Juice!!! And today, I found this video: “Is Your Game Juicy Enough?”. Tons of juicey ideas! And now I’m wondering if I should push my release back, so I can add more juice!

Gigi

That’s a pretty awesome view … never saw it under this angle. Thanks, because it’s so, so true.
