I have tried EditorXR, MRTK, XRIT, VRTK, etc… but these are all either dated, not working, not supported or more for features to add to a game - not build the scene.
GOAL
I would like to build levels with assets I already imported into Unity.
Move objects, position characters (with IK) , setup lighting and MAYBE some light texturing and save various setups all within VR.
No need for animations or complex logic. Just static scenes.
Even happy to spend big bucks on the asset store if there is a way I don’t have to deal with the 2D unity interface to edit an immersive world or pop in and out of VR (headset up / headset down) just to move a table to the right.
Has anyone else built a creative / simple setup for this use case?
Ideally leveraging 2020.x, OpenXR and the “new” input system so I don’t have to rework the world to be creative.
Very open to suggestion.
