Just in case you are thinking about buying a Mac Book Pro. You should know that if you buy an Apple Developer Connection (ADC) membership for $499. You can buy the MacBook Pro for only $1599 ($500 cheaper) and then, as an ADC member get a free beta copy of Leopard. So, bascially, for $1999 you get the MacBook Pro, beta of Leopard, and all the ADC benefits.
Linking like that doesn’t work. Maybe just describe where you started from and what you did.
In general read the fine print when you try this. Last time someone recommended an ADC deal like that, there was some catch where you weren’t guaranteed the discount, or had to wait 6 months or something, I forget what it was now. Another limit that I remember better was that the system you bought had to include a display. So it had to be a laptop, iMac, or PowerMac G5 PLUS a monitor. I couldn’t just get the PowerMac I had my eye on.
Anyway, always read the terms.
Sorry about the link, here is a better one…

Are you hanging around Montebello, Quebec this week, Jeremy?
I could answer that, but it might jeopardize our agents in the field. Sorry.
And now, a few words from the sane people…

Can’t get to the page where it shows me how much rebatt I get. (German store and Free ADC)

Sane? Whasthat!?
Nm, it’s strictly need-to-know. And you don’t.
It doesn’t affect you anyway, so don’t worry about it.

Yes, and frustrating. I’m almost certain they will never tell you beforehand, because they don’t want you to ‘abuse’ the discount as we are talking about doing. They’d much rather you buy the membership because you want it, not just to get discounted hardware.
