How to change this script to touch input

i want to change this control from keycode to ui button
i just cant identified how to change it from keycode to virtual joystick. sorry for my bad explanation and my english.

This is for character control

Are you asking about an imaginary joystick, like buttons you make that act like one?
Please explain a bit more…

I don’t really think pasting all of that code was really required. It would suffice to paste the relevant code or an example of a line of code that you’d like to change, for instance.

Please refer to this thread for how to post code properly next time: Using code tags properly

Because right now, i control the character using imac keyboard, but i want to change the controller from keyboard to virtual button on mobile.

Sorry, i’m beginner unity user, i don’t know how to relate between two script page.

Thank you very much for your help

So you want to change … what? Movement, crouch , jump … all to buttons you create in your game for mobile? That’s the idea?

yes exactly, that’s my idea. Do u have idea for my problem ?

I guess so.
Imagine you have a button “Left”. So, on ‘press’ you can have a bool that says it’s down, and upon release you can set the bool to ‘false’. You can look up this information in place of the regular ‘GetKey’ or whatever else.
You could build your own axis/axes.
For tracking KeyDown/Up specifically, you have to make it so they only count on the frame it happens.

That sounds reasonable.
