How to control a sphere using thumb-sticks

Hello I would like to find a way of moving a sphere/player using the left analog stick. The code bellow was in a tutorial, however the sphere moves randomly such as instead of turning left it turns forward, thanks:

using UnityEngine;
using System.Collections;

public class PlayerController : MonoBehaviour {

	public float speed;
	private Rigidbody rb;

	void Start()
	{
		rb = GetComponent<Rigidbody>();
	}

	void FixedUpdate()
	{
		float moveHorizontal = Input.GetAxis("Horizontal");
		float moveVertical = Input.GetAxis("Vertical");

		Vector3 movement = new Vector3(moveHorizontal, 0.0f, moveVertical);

		rb.AddForce(movement*speed);
	}
}

Doesn’t sound random to me. You press left it goes forward. Everytime?

In that case switch your variables around or configure your input in the project settings.
