I have a 2D character that I made in Illustrator for a game I’m creating in Unity. I’ve been importing the illustrator file to create animations and then exporting the animation as a PNG sequence that I can import into Unit. This process seems exhausting and I’m wondering what other options there are for animating a 2D character?
I would like to try and create a rig for my character. Do I have to use a program like 3D max or Blender to create a rig or can I do this from within Unity? Is it possible to create a rig in Illustrator?
