How to create a scene setup

Hello everyone. I’m creating a game that starts off where the player must take a bunch of primitives (blocks) and build a structure. After the structure is built the player clicks an “ok” button and the game begins. What I’m wondering is what’s involved in creating this sort of setup stage and then utilizing it in the game? I’ve read several of the beginner tutorials but they don’t discuss creating a setup like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even pointing me toward the right place in thte API.

You’d create each of these stages as different scenes. Once you’ve completed your setup scene, you’d call Application.LoadLevel and the appropriate scene number. Here are the appropriate docs on that function.

To retain that structure, you’d call DontDestroyOnLoad on it as seen here.
