Hi,
i want to build a flying carpet. By now my carpet is a thin cube but at least its flying.
I want to animate the carpet that it looks like the cloth mesh if its accelerating, but i don t get the cloth mesh to work properly on my cube the way i need it.
Or is it the wrong way to animate the carpet? Maybe i need to rebuild the carpet with bones and animate it on my own?
I would appreciate any little suggestion.
I am using Unity 5.4.3
I guess - first of all - the mesh needs to have enough subdivision vertices.
You could also find a lot of hints in this thread:

Hi, thanks for your answer, but i have to admit that i do not really understand what you mean. By now I have made a Little Progress with my carpet. I have projected it to an ocean like explained in that Video:
But the waves are a bit too slow for me so i tried to project the carpet to a Cloth (like making a flag blowing in the wind). But this doesn t work. The carpet is only projected to a single keyframe, not to the whole Animation itself. Maybe someone knows why?
