How to deliver iOS app to a specific company ?

IF a company wants an iOS app just for them (and not submitted to the app store for general use)
what is the usual way of delivering such an app (as due to provisioning limitation by Apple, all the provisioning on an App usually expires every 3 months or so)
Is there a way to do this ? What is the usual solution for this ?
