How to detach a object from hierarchy

How can I detach a object from hierarchy, like this:

You need to drag and drop “Clip” to empty space in the Hierarchy.

If you want to “detach” it at runtime you just need to set the Transform’s parent to null

    clip.transform.parent = null;
