Hi, I need to detect that button to interact with an AR Game.
The idea is to simulate what the self stick does.
Any idea please?
Thanks

Apple’s App Store guidelines forbid altering the behavior of the system buttons.

Hi @Ryiah , I’m sorry I don’t explain me well. I don’t want to change the volume value. I want to detect the event when the Volume was pressed to push a game button. It is a AR Game… and I want to use the Volume Up button as triggers of tings in my game
That’s basically the same thing from Apple’s perspective. You’re altering the behavior of the button from what it was intended for. Because Apple doesn’t allow it Unity provides absolutely no support for it whatsoever.
For example, Camera+ was an app that used the Volume Up to trigger taking a picture. When Apple found out, they not only rejected the app but also essentially banned it for three months from their store. Apple takes their guidelines seriously.

Thanks @Ryiah , I see the only option is a native plugin. I will look into that.
Applications like Wassap allow you to take photos with the volume up. Apple is probably gentler these days
Actually, they are worse. You can try it and you might get lucky, but Apple does say, just because another app does it, doesn’t mean you will get to. We have had updates denied for features that had been in the app since release and even though it was fine for a year, they suddenly say it’s not ok.
Just don’t count on something without a backup plan if Apple does declare in their guidelines they don’t allow something, that they may deny your app.
