How to detects collision between 2 GUITexture game objects

Hello there,

I want have multiple 2D images on the screen to be able to detect collision with other images. I used GUITexture to have those images displayed on screen. Those images are movable by using touch input ( yeah, its an iphone app). Is there any way to make the collision detection works when image A touches image B for instance?

If you want a solution that doesn't involve the physics engine in any way, sure, detecting intersection between rectangles in 2-d is trivial. (If they're axis-aligned at least, but it's still pretty easy if they're oriented.)

If they're axis-alighed, search for 'aabb intersection' and you should find what you're looking for.
