How to draw arrows on navigation way of an agent.

you know some games like BDO have a great system for quest tracking. Player can see and follow the quest line.
What is the mentality behind it?
Does Unity Navigation system naturally allow this?

(Now insert a screenshot showing the feature for all of us mortals who have never heard of BDO)
What is that feature usually called and how would I do that in Unity?
