Hi,
I got one question here, for many cases, you need export your stuff to others, but sometimes, you don’t want others see your script codes. This is easy to accomplish in common programming, just give by binary - .dll, .so etc. But I don’t know how to do this in Unity, does anyone know about this? Pls help me on this:)
Thanks!
I know in unity, it can detect .dll and use it.
But in some case, the scripts are attached to one gameobject/prefab etc, what I mean is can we export the gameobject with script, but the receiver can not see the script codes?
The short answer: There is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent someone who has a copy of your game, or part of your game, from obtaining your scripts.
Even a dll can be trivially decompiled with Reflector.
See the following thread for details (you may have to dive a few pages in to find the appropriate parts).
