We’re creating our internal package manager and wanted to integrate it with the built-in one or create another package manager window that resembles the build-in one. However, I could not find any source code of it, the package-manger-ui package content is empty. Could you give some suggestions for the best approaches?

You’re right, the package-manager-ui package is no longer developed as a package, it has become part of the editor itself. However, there are old versions of the package which are still publicly available that might be of interest to you. I’m not sure how far the in-editor UI has diverged from these old versions though. You can find a list of versions and download links using npm view.
