how to fix compiler errors?

so anytime i try to open a new unity project it says there are compiler errors and i should go into safe mode. and when i try to play it it says all compiler errors have to be fixed before playing. in my scene there is nothing but a directional light and a camera. i really have no idea what is wrong. could someone please help?

From version 2020.2 in unity give to you chance fix error in code before then other parts of ur project load.
Probably, if u use in project assetpackage this part can don’t work correctly, cause creators this assets don’t update their asset for this version.

i fixed the problem by simply redownloading unity. thanks though!
