Every launch it makes disk check after 8 seconds, even if it already done a disk check (i left when EST = 1h and Windows loaded successfully, but it still persists on reboot), is there a way to stop it or the only available thing is install Windows 11 or reinstall whole OS?
is it finding and fixing anything?
If its finding something each time, then there is something wrong. Possibly hardware failing or otherwise however try How to Stop Disk Check (CHKDSK) on Startup Windows 10
no it is probably just whining every time cause of 1 CRC error happened on A: when GPT4All was opened and i tried to zip a Unity project with local crap output AI running in background (it always gives me strange bugs).
Also in first variant i have windows powershells instead and command is not working and in registry it is already “only delete all linds under Value data except autocheck autochk *.” state, maybe i should delete even it actually?
So im kinda stuck i guess and have to press anykey everytime or let it check again hoping it will stop doing so or run pc without that A: Nvme M.2 SSD, then put it back and run with it. Idk
Found the proper always working variant:
- Type cmd in win search
- Open it from admin mode with RMB (yes even if you are one)
- chkntfs /x C: (replace C with your disk)
(This one works even if you have PowerShells in Ctrl + X instead of cmd’s)
So the first thing on the link i gave you?
no it told about Win + X for cmd and registry (which is already same as it suggests) which didnt help, as i guess cause of IDE’s and stuff there are powershells instead of CMD and Admin CMD
P.S.
Though the command in it to put in admin cmd is correct of course
nah i edited the reply i have powershells instead the command not works in there even admin one.
Rebooted by the way, yes, problem solved, though it is strange that it did it at all considering registry is in state of not checking, maybe i was unlucky and it was last redundant check even considering i interrupted it and launched again with hit anykey to skip

Here is the screen of place in my case
oh well it seems i do have damaged files actually after GPT4All in background and trying to 7z, my main project is not opening, other is okay, gonna make empty and put it there then try again
Ed.
P.S.
Oh-ho, for the first time in my life i got to the importance of backing up, and thankfully did it recently, also i was about this situation of if my little progress on level design gonna crash i will do more proper walls than probuilder crap scaling boxes (I guess I can just go to Edit mode in it and move some vertices, to not ruin geometry origin even if not gonna use Blender this time)
Most of my files got corrupted, thank you GPT4All and 7z, very cool!
Seems like it is always better to copy the asset folder and then zip it, though it should work as just copying things not touching originals, but if there is error (CRC) in that process cause of GPT4All with LLama 1B it makes the files unreadable.
(Maybe i should just delete the 4All thing even not put to dangerzone folder, it always bugged my system, though now i updated OS - VSC & Upscayl stopped flickering maybe GPT4All thing is less buggy and bugging OS now…)

Yeah my Visual Studio was corrupted too probably, as it stopped launching (that is why i made code for Zxen in notepad), I reinstalled it.
Forgot about this process…

Also looks like Hub got kinda corrupted too as any install editor gives validation errors
(Ed. 4
Yes it got, I signed out and then could’nt go back. Reinstalled - Ok. Should’ve checked this by copying whole Hub folder as it probably would say “can’t read” to half items+ like it did with Assets)
