How to generate a viscous liquid (honey, lava) kind of effect?

Hi all,

I am trying to generate a honey flow kind of effect (fluid mechanics) in my game. I have tried deform mesh, morphing and procedural mesh scripts, but didn’t get the effect yet. And i don’t want to do with particles. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

then use an animated texture to make it look like it’s flowing
