ok so in doom 2016 i noticed a cool feature where when you looked at a glowy emissions thingy it would light up the fingerprint smudges on the players’ visor. i really want to replicate the effect cos its awesome as hell but i have no goddamn clue how to do that.
The effect is called “Lens Dirt” and you can achieve that with the Bloom effect from the Post-processing Stack. Simply enable “Bloom” and under “Dirtiness”, insert a fitting texture__*__.
