How to get node previews

Attached are 2 file, one is my shader graph, and one is the tutorial I followed.

I’ve just assumed that eventually this would fix itself, but for every version of Unity I’ve had this problem, no node previews. Its really annoying…

Shader graph also has to be exited->entered every time I create a new property, or it freezes…

Im on latest public unity version.
Anything I can do?


Can confirm, have the same issue on the latest stable build, have to close/open shader graph every time I rename any property in blackboard.

But regarding node previews, I see that they indeed became spheres in the Beta, although that presents another problem in itself — I need regular square 2D node previews, so that I can clearly see tiling and all subsequent nodes.
As soon as I connect Position node, I can’t see what I’m doing with the Rectangle node clearly.
We need a way to change node previews either “per node” or globally.

Im not really talking about swaures vs spheres, though that is a good point. I just dont get any previews at all, just black. Which kinda removes the whole purpose of using this instead of just coding.
