So, let’s say in our game, users can create multiple game accounts.
And our game sells a skip ads pack (non-consumable)
As I understand it, the pack can only be purchased once for one AppStore account.
So if user buy the skip ads pack for game account A, they can’t buy it again for game account B.
I guess Apple will just fail the IAP with reason like ‘you’ve already purchased this product’.
The only way for game account B to get the skip ads package is to use the restore button. But this is not what we want; skip ads pack should be tied to the game account. Is this possible for non-consumable product? Or are we force to eat the loss of potential income here?
It seems so easy to abuse. Let’s say you also hero ‘skin’ for game as a non-consumable product. You can just lend your account to the friend that have purchased all the skins and press restore to get all the skins to your account… I must have been missing something. How do other people deal with it?
