Trying to do the tutorial ‘Add background music’ but when trying to import the ‘Foundations of Audio’ asset from the asset store, it keeps saying ‘This Unity Package has Package Manager dependencies.’. When I select ‘Install/Upgrade’, it brings up the ‘Import Unity Package’ dialog. In that dialog, I am unable to check any of the unchecked boxes. I click import and it shows the progress bar indicating that it is doing something, but nothing seems to be imported.
It states that the supported Unity versions are 2019.4.10 or higher, and I have tried both 2019.4.18f1 and 2019.4.17f1.
I know that someone else had the same issue because when I google the first hit is to this website with someone asking this question. However, that link is dead and I tried checking the url in the wayback machine but it wasn’t archived and I haven’t been able to find that question by searching here.
I was having the same issue as you, the package manager dependencies warning. I just hit import on whatever was selected and found the tutorial scene in the spot where the Unity Learn Tutorial said it would be Project Tab > Assets > Unity - Foundation of Audio > Scenes. I loaded that scene and it worked as intended.
If this is from the Unity Essentials - Essentials of real-time audio tutorial.

The instructions specify to “Create a new Unity project using the URP Template.” Create a new project, use the search for templates box - searching for “URP” and load “3D Sample Scene (URP)”
*
Then after Foundations of Sound is imported, select the Scenes folder under “Unity - Foundations of Sound” and you’ll see the “Essentials Audio Scene” ready to load or in the “Open Scene” path “\Foundations Of Sound\Assets\Unity - Foundations of Audio\Scenes\EssentialsAudioScene.unity”
I am having this exact problem today, including the warning about Package Manager Dependencies. But after I click install, when I look in the project tab, the uncheckable assets have NOT been imported. I’m not able to import any of the models, scenes, or audio assets, so I’m unable to do the tutorials. Can anyone suggest what I need to do to fix this? Thanks!
