how to import obj with animations from 3ds max ?

so i have an object with animations in the timeline, but when i import it to unity it doesn’t move
offcures it wouldn’t but then when i choose the object in the animator window it says
controller : nonve

how do i make it run through my timeline ? or make spacific anmations
(like 1-200 timeline frames is run, 400, 600 is walk … etc…)
