How to integrate Flurry Analytics with Unity

Hi,

I’m trying a plugin to use with Flurry Analytics

  1. I downloaded the .unitypackage 2) Put FlurryAgent.cs FlurryAgent.jar in Assets/ Plugin / Android… 2) Created a Script called “Example.cs” attached on an Object which is always active. 3) on the Start() function wrote these strings :

_FlurryAgent = new FlurryAgent(); // need to Initialize the script
_FlurryAgent.onStartSession(“insert here your unique ID of the app”);
_FlurryAgent.logEvent(“Application is opened”); // on your events web site, you’ll get this notification.

_FlurryAgent.onPageView(); // to increment the analytics.

Then wrote this code inside the Example.cs :

public void OnApplicationQuit()
{
_FlurryAgent.onEndSession();
}

Now I think I have to write some code to link Flurry to Unity. Need some help.

Thanks, Regards

I believe the Flurry plugin from http://www.neatplug.com may help you integrate it to Unity like a snap. A lot of details are hidden like when you should end the session or reactivate the session… it is really easy to use, stable, check it out at http://www.neatplug.com

NeatPlug’s Flurry plugin is Paid.

A free solution is available here!

I know its a little late to reply to this post, but hope this helps pthers looking for free Flurry Plugin!

Well, for the record there’s more…

Majchrzak’s plugin is the most recently updated one. I couldn’t get the faizann one to compile in xcode.
A note on Majchrzak’s plugin:
His test file has an example of assigning the flurry keys to a string. He uses lowercase string. That doesn’t work. You need to use uppercase String to declare the key variables, otherwise your variables will be empty and then when you attempt to start the session the game will break (on android) or continue as if everything is fine but never reporting any flurry events (ios).

Hi, please try new Flurry Analytics Plugin.
