I have a CM FreeLook camera. Very often I find myself editing some parameter of one of the rigs in the inspector and then immediately do the exact same edit to the other two. Other than being tedious this is also error-prone, what if I once forget to edit one of them?
How do I lock/link individual properties to always be the same across all three rigs?
Yes, it’s annoying.
Unfortunately there is no built-in workaround for this at the moment.
There is an experimental version of a new FreeLook, which is based on the assumption that all three rigs are the same, unless you define overrides. It has its own awkwarndesses to contend with. You can play around with it if you define the script variable CINEMACHINE_EXPERIMENTAL_VCAM in your player settings. It’s called CinemachineNewFreeLook.
