Dear everyone,
My friend gave me a file *.bundle and tell me that’s the assets file.
I’m still new with unity. I want to load the content into my game.
But from my researching, there is no toturial for loading file *.bundle.
Could it be there 's no way for it?
Please,
Thanks.
Double-click it.
are u seriously? i double click even more than 10 times before making this question.
That’s an odd choice of extension. Unity’s packages are normally .unitypackage for assets from the store or .assets for actual asset bundles. Given his choice of naming I’m going to bet he sent you an asset bundle which is not meant to be opened.
can you drop the file on this page and show whats in the file header?
only Hexa T_T. I don’t see any header there.
can post that image, so maybe can see the file type,
like if its assetbundle, probably looks like this

This is my header.

looks about same… so maybe its asset bundle.
try loading it *using same unity version 5.4
For next time, ask for a UnityPackage. AssetBundles are for assets meant to be loaded by the game at runtime. UnityPackages are for sharing assets between developers.
I still can’t load it.
Well clearly is is not a valid file or is corrupted in some manner. Instead of asking us, why don’t you ask the guy who gave it to you. That person would know far more than any one of us as to the contents and how to extract them. Others have tried to help, we can’t due to insufficient information.
anyway, thank a lot everyone.
I will ash him again. ![]()
