how to Load textasset from StreamingAssets folder

Hello I’m trying to load file as a Text asset, when the file is inside the resources folder

TextAsset asset1 = (TextAsset)Resources.Load(Filename, typeof(TextAsset))

Works without problems

but when I try to load a file from outside that folder, the streamingAssets folder, I get this error message

TextAsset asset1 = (TextAsset)Resources.Load(Application.streamingAssetsPath + "/" + Filename, typeof(TextAsset))
>NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Unity suggest me to use this, but it doesnt work either

TextAsset asset1 = (TextAsset)UnityEditor.AssetDatabase.LoadAssetAtPath(x, typeof(TextAsset));

Any ideas on how to import a textasset from the streamingassets folder
This will be used in a release version, so editor only solutions are a no go
