How to make a memory style matching game?

I was looking for a tutorial on how to make a memory style matching game. Does anybody know of one that exists? I know Unity used to have a tutorial for it but it’s no longer on their site. Does anybody have it saved anywhere?

I don't recall ever seeing a tutorial for a memory matching game. If it was ever on the site it'll be moved to the Asset Store.

Apparently it was here: http://unity3d.com/support/old-resources/example-projects/iphone-examples And then it was here: http://unity3d.com/support/old-resources/ And now it's nowhere. If anybody knows of something let me know. Thanks!

The book Unity 3D Game Development by Example Beginner's Guide has a chapter on building a memory game.

This discussion is more suitable for the forums. No?

If the question content matched the question title then yes, this belongs in the forums since it's not a specific question. But since he is not looking for someone to tell him how to make the game, but actually looking for a specific Unity tutorial, my feeling is that it's fine for UA. Then again, I'm a relative n00b here. Also, he brings up a valid issue - there have been several Unity examples and tutorial links that point to the Unity website, and those tutorials or examples no longer exist, and no replacement is to be found.

It’s amazing what you find when you poke around old servers:

Thanks so much! It seems to work great with Unity 4 so I'm not sure why it's not in the asset store. I was looking for an old simon demo a few weeks ago but I ended up figuring it out myself. Thanks so much for helping out!

I cannot upvote yet, but why is that so hidden? Thanks BTW!

Thanks for the link :-)
