I have some antlers on a deer that I want to move with my dear but I don’t want them to be stretched, scaled or distorted how can I keep this from happening? Thanks!
I assume you are making an armature for the whole body…you would want the antlers to follow the head, right? Does the head stretch, scale, or distort? If now, just do the weight painting of the antlers into whatever bone in the head works for it. You can also do poses, and then do weight painting while posed in order to directly see the result. Normally though, verts won’t stretch, scale, or distort in a given area, unless they are attached to different bones. This can happen if you didn’t do the weight painting right, or if you used any of the automatic options.
