How to make a sword trace?

I already use TrailRenderer for bullets, but when a sword moves forward it looks this way:
(The trail is too wide for this movement)

When I replace a single TrailRenderer by a combination of multiple, they overlap:


Cant use trail render for sword.trail renderer quad will always face camera.trail sprite should be always parallel to sword orientation.
