How to make collider not interact with physics

I’m busy making a game and I want to disable rockets when they get too close to the player. My current strategy to do this is to make a collider follow the player and when the rockets touch the collider they get disabled. My problem is that because the player has its own collider(this is to enable player movement), unity wants to make the player move out of the the collider that disables rockets(while it follows the player). This causes the player to shoot upwards and stay on the roof of my map. Is there any way to make the collider only get trigger events and not interact with physics?


You need to put rocket BoxCollider as Is Trigger
(tick the property Box Collider GameObject Inspector)
