How to make "Hey Siri" work

So we noticed for other apps on our iOS devices the siri features work fine. We can do “Hey Siri…” just fine.
In our Unity App on iOS, “Hey Siri…” does not do anything. I enabled the Siri Capabilities in xCode but saying “Hey Siri…” still does nothing.

Does anyone know how to make it work?

So the “prepare mic for recording” disables Siri functionality, is there a way to reenable Siri while keeping “prepare mic for recording” enabled?
