Hello, so lets say i have a plane and i want it’s wing to be breakable when touches a tree or generaly another collider. Any help?
There are a few ways to so this. Perhaps the easiest one is to split the object into several sub-meshes. Then, when the object collides, you can enable a rigidbody on the wing element, and detach it from the parent, giving the impression of it breaking. This is how most games do it, because procedural mesh division is fairly expensive.
Your best bet is to make another model of your wing, which is broken and then swap the models when you hit a collider. Probably make several broken wings and choose from them, depending on where your wing gets hit.
