How to make pixel art smooth

Hi,
I want to make Top Down 2D game, I use assets in Asset Store.
In the game that I want to make, I use pixel art assets.
But, I want to make the pixel art look like cartoon.
I try to change Import Settings> Filter Mode: Bilinear.
But, it turns out that the pixel art is blurry. And when zoomed in, the pixel art has more pixels than before.
Is there a way that I can make the pixel art looks smooth as possible?

Maybe I’m wrong about this and a better artist could chime in, but “smooth pixel art” sounds like an oxymoron.
You might want to use a different art style for the look you’re trying to go for.

I don’t think you get how pixel art and image files in general work. If you want a cartoon look you’ll have to redraw all of the sprites in a much higher resolution.
