I’m trying to make a chain with hinge joint.However that come across a problem that the chain can only rotate by a certain axis set in the joint inspector.i would like to make the chain to rotate in any direction.i hope someone could help me with this ,thanks!
Use a Configurable Joint
A good starting point for what you’re describing would be to set X,Y,Z Motion to Locked and leave X,Y, and Z Angular motion to free. You may want to limit or lock the Y Angular motion for more realistic chain beacuse links wouldn’t freely rotate on the Y axis on a real chain.
