Hello All! i am wondering if it was at all possible to make things "darker" in unity. i have a level that is a old shanty town, its supposed to be around 11:00 to 12:00 o'clock at night on the level. and as much light as i dont have... its not really dark.
Reduce the ambient light in the render settings.
you could adjust your fog settings in your render settings also. the color, density, and if there should be fog.

Hey there,
There's a couple of ways to make things darker.
- Turn the lights down in the scene.
- Like Eric suggested, drop the ambient light level in the scene. I'm a big fan of "11"
- Make sure there's no colors baked into your scene. ([your Unity Installation]/Documentation/Documentation/Manual/Lightmapping.html)
- Drop the ambient values in your materials.
Does that help any?
