how to play audio from array?

so here’s the section of my code that plays audio,

public AudioClip[] audioClips;

void playAudio(int clipNumber){
		AudioSource audio = GetComponents<AudioSource>();
		audio.clip = audioClips[clipNumber];
		audio.Play ();


and then i get the error:error CS0029: Cannot implicitly convert type UnityEngine.AudioSource[]' to UnityEngine.AudioSource’

please point out where i did wrong, thanks in advance.
